Positions Open
- Accurately apply fertilizers and pesticides to designated properties as assigned by Fertilizer Manager and Customers
- Complete in-house training and understand handling of agriculture pesticides
- Maintain accurate pesticide log of applicated acreage
- Communicate with farmers and ranchers on job site
- Perform maintenance and calibration of application equipment
- Perform daily equipment service duties such as checking oil, water, fuel and tires
- Perform minor in field maintenance as needed
- Assist with equipment repair and facilities projects during downtime and off-season
- Deliver liquid feed supplement to designated properties
Skills, Education and Experience:
- Class A or Class B CDL required
- High school diploma or equivalent is required
- Communication and interpersonal skills
- Highly motivated and team oriented
- Basic math skills and understanding of weights and measurements of dry and liquid components
- Ability to read field maps and use GPS equipment
- Basic knowledge of agriculture pesticides is a bonus, training will be provided
- Mechanically inclined to perform basic truck maintenance and assist with various projects
- Additional skills such as welding, heavy equipment experience, etc. are a bonus
- Must pass drug test and background check
- Physical requirements:
- Must be able to move objects using abdominals and lower back muscles
- Frequently moves materials or equipment weighing up to 50 pounds
- Ability to climb up and down ladders and/or equipment
- Ability to maneuver safely and work underneath equipment

- Troubleshoot and diagnose vehicle, machinery equipment malfunctions and failures
- Performs general mechanical functions and repairs on vehicles and plant equipment
- Disassemble and assemble machine components with hand tools, pneumatic tools and specialized tools
- Plans and control cost of repair jobs
- Perform general skills such as welding, fabrication, pipefitting, HVAC, pump repair and basic equipment repair
- Help develop preventative maintenance system to track items needing attention
- Rebuilds, repairs and maintains equipment and components
- Maintain clean, organized work environment with tools and machinery in good condition
- Monitor mileage and required service on vehicles
- Maintaining articulating loader and forklift maintenance and service schedule
- Seasonal overtime as required by workload
Skills, Education & Experience:
- High school diploma or equivalent is required
- Required 3-5 years experience or accredited technical school degree/certificate may be substituted for a portion of the experience requirement
- Welding and fabrication skills
- Class A CDL preferred
- Ability to operate forklift
- Must pass drug test and background check
